Unfortunately, the premium models come with a premium price. i'd go 1100. the main cooking surface is actually bigger on the 1100 than the 1250. difference in size is the deeper top shelf on the 1250. looks like you could pretty easily get an additional grate to go in the 1100 if you're really desperate for more space.
