May 23, 2023 · Original Review: The carburetor was almost a perfect match for my Ryobi RY4CSS S430 trimmer, except for the throttle cable connection. The design was slightly different so the carburetor will not close enough for a low idle…. will only close about 50%. The other items (fuel filter, spark plug, fuel line grommet) do not match OEM parts. Just bought a new Ryobi straight shaft 4 Cycle S430 trimmer last weekend at Home Depot to replace my aging 1079r that did 8-9 years stirling service! It starts OK but the engine dies on the way to full throttle.
